What is a Dashboard?
The Excel Dashboard is used to display overviews of large data tracks. Excel Dashboards use dashboard elements like tables, charts, and gauges to show the overviews. The dashboards ease the decision-making process by showing the vital parts of the data in the same window.
According to Stephen Few, one of the most celebrated data visualization experts, a dashboard is “a visual display of the most important information needed to achieve one or more objectives, consolidated and arranged on a single screen so that information can be monitored at a glance”.
